Built in 1917 for the Governor of Kansas, Henry J. Allen, the Allen house features this elegant, simple bowl poised on a square pedestal. Available in three sizes: 27 1/2″ diameters, 41″ diameter, and the full-scale model of the original, 55″ diameter. All sizes are deep enough to plant all kinds of plant materials, from colorful flowers to shrubs & palms. These containers are the finest manufactured home and garden planters using the highest materials & quality workmanship.
Each piece is assigned a numbered Frank Lloyd Wright signature authentication plaque to distinguish its place in the Frank Lloyd Wright Stoneware collection.

Frank Lloyd Wright Cast Stone Planters that are not only functional but stunningly beautiful. He considered the Allen House residence one of his best works. It is the last of the Prairie House constructions he built in 1917 for the Governor of Kansas, Henry J. Allen. The Allen House Garden Planter was positioned beyond the reflecting ponds and could be seen from the house as you walked through the garden. A deep round bowl that is sitting on a pedestal base that is large and square for stability. This two-piece outdoor planter vase comes in three sizes and five sandstone colors. Used in Europe for centuries, dry cast stone has proven itself to be durable & high-quality pottery. This Frank Lloyd Wright garden planter comes in two pieces. Installation involves attaching the top piece to the bottom piece.
Available in five standard color choices. Comes with a 10-year limited warranty.

This piece of pottery is authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Taliesin West, Scottsdale, Arizona, and has been developed with the cooperation of the Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio Foundations and the Robie House Museum Properties of the National Trust for historic preservation. A portion of the sales of these planters supports the conservation and education programs of these institutions. Each planter comes with a small authentication plaque attached.

Warranty: 10-Year Limited Warranty. Using an age-old "dry-casting" method, adding several compounds to the reconstituted sandstone, Nichols Bros. is able to offer a 10-year limited warranty against freeze-thaw damage on all architectural products.
